The end of summer is near, and it's almost time to go back to school. While some are dreading the classroom and wondering why summer flew by, these explorers are getting a head start in biology with Dalton State's Nature Exploration camp at Lakeshore Park.
For two days, these fascinated students were taught the art of conserving the environment, and the importance of learning about life in it's natural habitat.
Many activities were specifically designed by our very own professors and students for the discovery and further study of life at Lakeshore Park.
From finding turtles, fish, and critters in the lake to observing the birds living high in the trees, the students had their hands full and knees deep in nature.
What a beautiful world we live in!
